You think good videos just happen.

They don't. They're written first.

The Script Template (Copy This)

[HOOK - 5 seconds]: State the problem or question

[BODY - 15-20 seconds]: Explain 1-2 key points

[CTA - 5 seconds]: Tell them what to do next

Total: 25-30 seconds. Done.

Example Script

Hook: "North East businesses are losing 40% of customers because they're not on video. Here's why."

Body: "Video gets 5x more engagement than images. Customers are searching for you on Instagram and TikTok. If you're not there, your competitor is. One video per week for three months changes everything."

CTA: "Ready to start? Link in bio to book a video strategy call with DRAW MEDIA."

Why This Works

Hook: Grabs attention (relates to problem)

Body: Provides value (no sales pitch yet)

CTA: Clear next step (no confusion)

Script Types by Goal

Goal: Build awareness | Script: Lead with problem, educate, soft CTA

Goal: Generate leads | Script: Lead with problem, show solution, strong CTA

Goal: Build authority | Script: Teach something useful, mention your approach, soft CTA

Writing Process

  1. What's ONE thing you want people to know? (1 sentence)

  2. Why is it important? (2 sentences)

  3. What should they do? (1 sentence)

That's your script. 10-15 seconds. Add examples. 25-30 seconds.

Common Script Mistakes

❌ Talking about yourself first ("At DRAW MEDIA, we...") ✅ Talking about customer problem first ("Your videos aren't working because...")

❌ Too many points (3+ ideas confuses viewers)

✅ One main point, 2 supporting ideas

❌ Weak CTA ("Feel free to reach out")

✅ Strong CTA ("Book your call here")
